Does-it smell bad ?
You are in the sewer. There may be bad smells. It depends on weather and effluent level
Are animals allowed ?
Animals are prohibited in the museum except dogs accompanying the blind
What clothes to wear ?
No need to bring rain boots ! We advise you to wear comfortable and closed shoes. You can take a sweater because the temperature is between 15 and 20 degrees all year round
Can we do the tour alone ?
You can make the tour alone. Free guided tour are also offered on site. It depends on the number of visitors or availability of guides
Is the reservation necessary ?
Reservation is required for groups. You can send a email to this adress : musee-des-egouts@paris.fr Specify name and location, the language spoken, contact details of the group leader, level and age of visitors and the type of visit : free or guided tour. Large groups are limited to 25 persons (except school groups limited to 30). The tour lasts about 1 hour.
